November 7, 2009: There have been many updates made to Well Beyond the Pale.  News has been added, many newsfeeds have been updated and This Day in History is now active for This Day in Ireland. There has been a major update to the Newsfeed section.  News from Ireland has been divided into two categories: National and Regional.  The RSS feeds for about sixty local and regional papers have been added; they're divided by county.  As more local papers add RSS feeds to their sites, they'll be added to WBTP.  For example, the group that owns the Fermanagh Herald doesn't offer RSS feeds on any of its 12 or so publications; once they do, I will add them. A new section has been added on feeds i nGaeilge.  There aren't too many sites offering Irish language feeds, but as they appear, they are being added. This Day in History for Ireland is, essentially completed–at least the first round.  Many more pieces of information will be added.  The goal is to have at least one significant event from each of the last six centuries and older historical information will be added as appropriate.  The heavy lifting now comes as a catalog of events from the recent Troubles is added.
