August 19, 2008: It wasn't quite what Michael O'Neill expected when he returned from spending over two months in Australia, but his friends and neighbors were mourning his passing. He found his front door had been smashed in by local police, frantic to find his body. There were even rumors of foul play. The lesson learned for O'Neill, 49 from Middlesbrough in England, is that if you are going to Australia and you're planning the trip at the last minute, tell someone; don't just vanish. Neighbors thought he was dead. Their fears were verified when a death notice appeared in a local paper for Michael O'Neill. The death notice included the names of his two very-much-alive brothers, Terry and Kevin. It wasn't some sordid prank. It turned out that there were two Michael O'Neill's in Middlesbrough with brothers called Terry and Kevin. Now there's only one and he's at the hardware store buying a new front door.
