There's controversy in Ireland about the Mormon practice of baptizing people after they have died.  Dermot Clifford, Archbishop of Cashel and William Murphy, the Bishop of Kerry, have contacted the National Library of Ireland about giving access of parish and diocesan records.  Posthumous baptisms have been a Mormon practice for many years.  A spokesperson for the Mormon community stated that baptisms are not binding if the person rejects it in the afterlife. < Prev   Next >
