September 13, 2008: So Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates have been coupled and charged with revitalizing the image of Microsoft [NASDAQ:MSFT] and its lackluster Windows product, Vista.  I don't know if you're familiar with the great quantum leap in GUIness known as Vista, but it's everything the critics said it is and less.  It's a little like NASA announcing that they're going to send a man to Tampa and return him safely to Cape Canaveral.  Anyhoo, I happen to hate the product but enjoyed the commercials.   Microsoft isn't the only company to launch an expensive and somewhat confusing campaign.  Orangina launched an interesting campaign in France.  The commercial is somewhat suggestive, there, I got you to click, and wouldn't make it on broadcast TV in the US.  Here it is in all its glory. < Prev   Next >
