I say "superdog" with tongue in cheek, but this award went to a hound that excelled in many different areas. I believe her name is Raleigh–I'll check that out once I get the full results. The hound was bred at the kennel of Lori Walker.  The video is short; it's under a minute.

One of the last competitions for the day was best in breed. There were many entrants, close to thirty by my count, though as I get more information, I will update this section.  This viideo is short, just over a minute; they look beautiful, don't they?

The competition started with a line up of all entrants. This video shows those hounds. The judge then dismissed all but about ten dogs and judged these animals. That juding is shown in a later video.

This particular competition, one of the last of the day, is for best in breed. Here you see all the wolfhounds entered for this competition strut their stuff around the ring. The judge then divides the entrants into three separate groups and judges the first group.  This clip is exactly ten minutes long.

This video shows judging for the veteran bitch class. Four hounds were entered in this class. Pat Cobb's (Dunmadadh) "Dallie" won. This video was shot without the benefit of a tripod, a mistake I won't make in the future.

This competition was for American bred bitches; there were four entrants, but only three showed up.  This video is just over nine minutes long.

Each hound is judged separately. The judge examines the dog, comparing it against the breed standard. The hound is then observed trotting round the ring. As each dog is judged in turn, the others retire to the shaded area awaiting their turn.

The IWAWC Specialty Best in Breed continues. This show takes place every year and entry is open to any, AKC registered Irish Wolfhound. There were about thirty entrants in this competition, so, the judge elected to see the Wolfhounds in separate groups. Here you see the continuation of the judging of some of the males.

In terms of figuring out which particular competition I was watching, I was hoping to correlate the number of entrants with the number of dogs in the video. However, there were a number of no-shows, so my plan was thwarted, This competition is for bitches; they look to me to be about two to three year's old, but I'll get firmer information and update this description later.
