Update on Today in Ireland http://wellbeyondthepale.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4017:update-on-today-in-ireland&catid=85:today-in-ireland&Itemid=122 Update: This page will remain at the bottom of This Day in Ireland for the next twelve months or so.  It will be updated about once a month with news.

Today in Ireland is a chronology of events in Irish history with a focus on recent occurrences.  Recent means any time after 1900–that's Irish time.  The main focus is on the Troubles.  In fact, it was the Troubles that really drove this project from a curiosity to an obsession.
