Warning: mktime(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected the timezone 'UTC' for now, but please set date.timezone to select your timezone. in /hermes/bosnacweb08/bosnacweb08az/b29/ipw.wellbeyo/public_html/libraries/joomla/utilities/date.php on line 119 Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. What is the highest temperature ever recorded in Ireland? Of course, we're talking about a meteorological temperature–not convection ovens, Bunsen burners or acetylene blow torches. The temperature, surprisingly hot if you live there, surprisingly mild if you don't, was 91.1 °F (33.3 °C) recorded at Kilkenny Castle in County Kilkenny on June 26, 1887. The temperature in the summer tends to hover in the 60s and 70s, but drops into the 30s and 40s in the depth of winter. The coldest air temperature ever recorded in Ireland was on January 16, 1881 at Markree Castle in County Sligo; that temperature was -2.4 °F (-19.1 °C).
