Institutional Risk Analytics expects that there will be more bank failures in the next twelve months. So far in 2008, a total of nine banks have failed, including mortgage giant IndyMac Bank. The firm has a list of over 100 lenders in trouble and likely to foreclose. Though the list isn't public, commentators don't expect the failure of only smaller banks, another giant or two may fold.
