Interesting idea that the hit TV drama, Little House on the Prairie, adapted from the books of Laura Ingalls Wilder, which aired on NBC from September 1974 to May 1982 is considered as an adult-themed show in Finland. DVDs of the show have a special sticker warning people that the material should be viewed by people eighteen years of age or older. It could be that moral standards in Finland are extremely high: people are shocked that sometimes a lady's ankle can be seen. Of course it could also be that Universal Studios elected not to fork over $30,000 to the Finnish government to review the series, thus causing it to fall into the default category of adults only. You decide!
