May 16, 2010: This page will be used to track the weights for Bó and Brí, the two Irish Wolfhound puppies. The dogs were born on May 24, 2009, bred by Carla Zayac of Coulterville, CA. The table below lists the date on which the dogs were weighed, their age in weeks followed by their respective weight in pounds. They're taken to Rose City Veterinary Hospital in Pasadena each week, where they're put on the scales. The staff there is happy to have customers come in and check the weights of their dogs. The weights were updated on May 16, 2010; they're each doing well. They're now each fifity-one weeks old; they will turn one year old next week. If you haven't already done so, please click on "read more," on the bottom right of this document, you'll find a tabulation of their weights, week-by-week, starting on September 9. Note that Brí went into season for the first time around April 2, so the two started to lose weight. She boarded for the week of April 5. Her weight still hadn't fully recovered by April 25. Bó took her disappearance pretty badly and became very submissive; he too lost his appetite. You can check on YouTube for short movies of the two dogs.
